On-chain Language: EnglishThis market will resolve to "Yes" if no Atlantic-basin tropical or subtropical cyclone is officially classified as a hurricane by the National Hurricane Center (NHC) or NOAA at any time after the creation of this market and before December 1, 2026 - 00:00 UTC.
Otherwise this market will resolve to "No."
For the purposes of this market:
• A "hurricane" is any tropical or subtropical cyclone in the North Atlantic basin (including the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of Mexico) that the NHC/NOAA classifies as having maximum sustained 1-minute surface winds of at least 64 knots (74 mph).
• Official classifications made by the NHC or NOAA (including realtime advisories and the agency's post-season best-track/HURDAT2 dataset) are binding. If the agencies later revise a system's status in their official best-track/HURDAT2 data or Tropical Cyclone Reports, those official records will be used to determine the final outcome.
• Only classifications made after the creation of this market are eligible for determining the outcome.
