This market will resolve to "Yes" if any self-driving car company demonstrates a Level 5 autonomous vehicle and either receives public road approval or launches a commercial service before January 1, 2026, 00:00 PST (UTC-8)

Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

The demonstration, approval, or service launch must be verifiable through official company announcements, government regulatory statements, or credible news sources

For the purposes of this market, a Level 5 Autonomous self-driving car is one that is capable of operating without any human intervention under all conditions and environments. Or a vehicle that can handle every aspect of driving—navigating complex urban streets, highways, adverse weather, and more—without any input from a human driver
