This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Bank of Japan's Outlook for Economic Activity and Prices (the "Outlook Report") issued on October 30, 2026 publishes a median FY2027 forecast for "core CPI (excluding fresh food)" that is greater than 2.4%, and the Outlook Report is published before October 31, 2026 - 00:00 UTC.

Otherwise this market will resolve to "No."

For the purposes of this market: the "median FY2027 forecast" is the median or central FY2027 value explicitly reported or labeled by the BOJ in the October 30, 2026 Outlook Report for core CPI (excluding fresh food). If the October Outlook does not provide an explicit median/central FY2027 figure for core CPI (excluding fresh food), or if no Outlook Report dated October 30, 2026 is published before the resolution deadline, this market will resolve to "No." Only outcomes published after this market's creation are eligible for resolution.
