Will the FBI publicly attribute the September 24, 2026 Bitget theft to North Korea?
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the FBI publicly attributes the September 24, 2026 Bitget theft to North Korea (DPRK) — including DPRK-linked actor names such as "TraderTraitor" or "Lazarus" — at any time after this market's creation and before December 31, 2026 - 23:59 UTC, and that attribution appears in an official FBI publication (fbi.gov), an IC3 public service announcement on ic3.gov, or an official FBI statement (press release, press conference transcript, or a verified FBI social-media post).
Otherwise this market will resolve to "No."
For the purposes of this market: "publicly attributes" means an explicit FBI or IC3 communication naming North Korea, the DPRK, or the specified DPRK-linked actor names as responsible. Attribution by Bitget, private cybersecurity firms, individual researchers, or journalists alone does not qualify unless accompanied by a qualifying FBI/IC3 publication or official FBI statement. Only statements or publications issued after this market's deployment are eligible for resolution.
