Rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the AI Kill Switch Act is enacted as a U.S. federal law at any time after the creation of this market and before December 31, 2026 - 00:00 UTC.

Otherwise this market will resolve to "No."

For the purposes of this market:

• "Enacted as a U.S. federal law" means the bill has become Public Law by one of the following: (a) signed by the President; (b) becomes law without the President's signature while Congress is in session; or (c) enacted by a successful Congressional override of a presidential veto.

• "AI Kill Switch Act" means a federal statute whose official short title or enacted title includes the exact phrase "AI Kill Switch Act," or which is explicitly identified as the "AI Kill Switch Act" in official congressional/Public Law documentation (e.g., Congress.gov or GovInfo). If no enacted law uses that exact short title, a "Yes" may still be determined if a consensus of credible official sources (Congress.gov, GovInfo, WhiteHouse.gov) and major reputable national news outlets explicitly refer to a specific enacted federal statute as the "AI Kill Switch Act."

• Only enactments occurring after this market's creation are eligible for resolution.
