Rules

This market will resolve to “Yes” if HSBC or the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) publicly announces, via an official HSBC or HKMA channel, that HSBC's licensed Hong Kong Dollar (HKD)-pegged stablecoin has been issued and is available to customers or the public at any time after the creation of this market and before January 1, 2027 - 00:00 PST.

Otherwise this market will resolve to “No.”

For the purposes of this market:

• Issued and available to customers or the public means the stablecoin is authorized and launched for general customer or public use such that customers can obtain, hold, send, or redeem the stablecoin through HSBC services or publicly accessible platforms.

• Pilots, regulatory sandboxes, limited closed-user tests, announcements of future launch dates, statements of intent, or product registrations that do not make the stablecoin available for general customer/public use do not qualify.

• Only announcements or evidence occurring after market deployment are eligible for resolution.
