Will Starknet Mainnet become an independent Layer 1 before January 21, 2027?
Market Data
Rules
On-chain Language: EnglishThis market resolves YES if, before January 21, 2027 at 00:00 UTC, Starknet Mainnet has activated a production mainnet architecture under which Starknet operates as an independent Layer 1 blockchain.
For this market, “independent Layer 1” means:
1. Starknet Mainnet has its own active consensus and finality mechanism securing its canonical transaction history; and
2. Ethereum is no longer required for Starknet Mainnet to obtain canonical settlement and finality; and
3. The change is active on Starknet Mainnet, not merely announced, proposed, approved by governance, deployed to testnet, or scheduled for a future date.
Starknet may continue to bridge assets to Ethereum, publish data or proofs to Ethereum, or otherwise interact with Ethereum. Such interactions do not prevent a YES resolution, provided Ethereum is no longer required for Starknet Mainnet’s canonical settlement and finality.
This market resolves NO if these conditions have not been met by the deadline.
A governance vote, research proposal, roadmap announcement, testnet launch, or announcement of a future Layer 1 migration does not qualify as YES.
