This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Bank of Canada’s Monetary Policy Report (MPR) published on or before October 28, 2026 - 23:59 UTC includes, in its official projections table, a 2027 annual-average CPI inflation projection strictly greater than 2.0%.

Otherwise this market will resolve to "No." This includes the cases where the published projection is exactly 2.0% or lower, or if no MPR is published on or before October 28, 2026 - 23:59 UTC.

For the purposes of this market: the "2027 annual-average CPI inflation projection" refers to the numeric value labeled for the year 2027 in the MPR projections table on the Bank of Canada website. Only values published in the October 28, 2026 MPR projections table are eligible for resolution; revisions or separate technical documents published after October 28, 2026 - 23:59 UTC do not count. Only events occurring after the creation of this market are eligible for resolution.
