This market will resolve to "Yes" if Andy Burnham is officially appointed and sworn in as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom as a direct result of the first UK parliamentary general election held after the creation of this market, at any time before January 1, 2031 - 00:00 UTC. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market: • The "first UK parliamentary general election held after the creation of this market" means the next nationwide UK general election (House of Commons) that occurs after this market's deployment. Only appointments that follow from that election's outcome are eligible. • "As a direct result of" means the appointment follows the declared election results and the monarch (or official state process) invites Andy Burnham to form a government on the basis of those results (e.g., his party or a coalition formed because of the election). Appointments that occur solely due to internal party leadership changes, resignations, votes of no confidence, caretaker arrangements, or other processes not triggered by the qualifying general election do NOT qualify. • Only events occurring after market creation are eligible. If no qualifying general election is held before January 1, 2031 - 00:00 UTC, this market will resolve to "No."
