This market will resolve to “Yes” if, at any time after the creation of this market and before January 1, 2027 - 00:00 PST, Gate.io experiences a catastrophic failure or collapse. A catastrophic failure or collapse is defined as one or more of the following confirmed events: • Gate.io files for bankruptcy, insolvency, receivership, or a similar formal insolvency proceeding in any jurisdiction. • Gate.io publicly announces it is insolvent, permanently ceasing operations, or unable to meet customer withdrawals such that normal trading and withdrawals are permanently suspended. • A competent financial regulator issues a final order permanently revoking Gate.io’s license or ordering permanent cessation of its operations. • Verified evidence demonstrates Gate.io’s custodial assets have been irrecoverably lost or stolen, resulting in an inability to fulfill customer balances. Otherwise this market will resolve to “No.” For the purposes of this market: • A qualifying event must be confirmed by at least two of the following: official Gate.io communications (website, press release, verified social accounts), public bankruptcy/court filings, official regulator statements/orders, or consistent reporting from major reputable news organizations. • Temporary outages, maintenance, temporary suspension of withdrawals pending investigation, voluntary acquisitions that preserve operations, rumors, or unconfirmed reports do not qualify. • Only events occurring after the creation of this market are eligible for resolution.

- Official Gate.io communications (website, press releases, verified social media) - Public bankruptcy or court filings and court records - Official statements or orders from financial regulators or supervisory authorities - Consensus of credible reporting from major news organizations (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg, CoinDesk)
