DDR5-6000 2x32GB kit above $1,100 at the end of 2026?
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the lowest advertised retail price for a new, sealed consumer DDR5-6000 memory kit sold as a single 2×32GB (two 32GB modules, total 64GB) product listing is strictly greater than $1,100.00 USD at 00:00 UTC on January 1, 2027, and the price observation occurs after this market's creation.
Reaching this amount before this date won't resolve to "Yes", it must be above at this specific timing.
Otherwise this market will resolve to "No."
For the purposes of this market:
- A qualifying "2×32GB kit" is a single retail product listing that explicitly describes the item as a kit containing two 32GB DDR5 modules rated at DDR5-6000. Single modules, multi-item bundles (multiple separate products sold together), or kits with a different advertised speed do not qualify.
- Only new, factory-sealed, consumer-grade (non-ECC, non-registered) modules qualify. Refurbished, used, OEM-only, server/ECC modules, samples, or listings for lessee/wholesale lots are excluded.
- "Advertised retail price" means the price displayed on the retailer or aggregator page at the timestamp, excluding taxes and shipping. Prices that require purchase of additional products or coupons to reach the listed price (e.g., combo-only discounts) do not count.
- Primary resolution source will be the PCPartPicker listed price snapshot at the timestamp (if a matching kit is listed). If PCPartPicker does not provide a price for a qualifying kit at the timestamp, the outcome will be determined from the lowest advertised price among the following US retailers at 00:00 UTC on January 1, 2027: Amazon.com, Newegg.com, MicroCenter.com, BestBuy.com. If prices are displayed in a non-USD currency, convert to USD using the mid-market FX rate at 00:00 UTC from xe.com.
- If no qualifying new retail DDR5-6000 2x32GB kit is listed by any of the resolution sources at the timestamp, this market resolves to "No."
